New edited volume published by BerlinUP: “Empowering Ghana’s Engineering Future: A Model for Professional Education in Renewable Energy – and beyond”
How can engineers be educated not only to accompany the energy transition, but to actively shape it? This edited volume documents the journey of the international ProREG project in Ghana, which has developed and tested practice-oriented, industry-relevant, and future-proof models for engineering education in renewable energy.

The contributions provide insights into innovative teaching and learning formats, institutional collaborations, and transferable concepts for a sustainable and just energy future that extend beyond Ghana. To this end, researchers from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology and the University of Energy and Natural Resources work together with scholars from Technische Universität Berlin, in cooperation with companies in Germany and Ghana. This book was edited by William Oduro, Stefan Wolf, Samuel Gyamfi, Joseph Akowuah, and Joerg Longmuss.
