Militär und Gesellschaft. Zeitschrift des Portals Militärgeschichte (MUG)
Military and Society. Journal of the Military History Portal (MUG) is a peer-reviewed journal that publishes scholarly articles on the history of the military, war, and society in German and English. In addition to individual articles, the journal publishes special issues featuring several related essays and an introduction. All articles are published in open access under the CC BY 4.0 license. The journal has been in existence since 2012, until 2023 under the name “Portal Militärgeschichte” (Military History Portal) and is published by the Arbeitskreis Militärgeschichte e.V.
